Giacomo Puccini was an italian composer born in one of my favorite places on the planet - Lucca, Italy:

One of his operas titled La Fanciulla del West, or the Girl in the Golden West, features a character named Minnie who enters the scene by firing a rifle shot into the air at a crowded saloon.  My kind of woman, and a fun title under which to document my journey to Colorado.  Enjoy!
